Abram Rudolph Stroud, 90, of 1075 US Highway 17 South, Elizabeth City, NC died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the Albemarle Hospital. Mr. Stroud, a native of Pasquotank County, was the son of the late Will Stroud and Julia Phelps Stroud and the widower of Lavinia Jane Gibbs Stroud. He was a retired supervisor at the Elizabeth City Cotton Mill and security guard at the Albemarle Hospital and a member of Fountain of Life Church.
