She was married to William Henry Sharp (1854-1943), the son of W P Sharp and Amanda (Southall) Sharp.
Ada lived at 1111 Kirkland Avenue in rural Davidson County and was 82 years old when she died at home of a cerebral hemorrhage on June 17, 1940. Burial was two days later in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville.
