Chuck Ahlstrand passed away suddenly at the age of 47 on Thursday, March 2, 2006. He was born in St. Louis on new Years Eve, 1958 and lived in Chicago until moving to Dallas where he met and fell in love with his wife of almost 19 years, Minnie. He was a real estate agent until discovering his passion for remodeling and building. His dream that he shared with his family was building their home on Liberty Hill.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie; son Jason; daughter Shannon; parents, Judy and George Ahlstrand; brothers, Gary and wife Debbie, Scott and wife Milka; sisters, Chris and husband Dan Bates, Kim and husband Roger Massey, and Jill McGovern; and many nieces and nephews and countless friends. He will be missed by all.
A mass will be held in Chuck's memory on Tuesday, March 7, 2006.at 11:00 a.m., at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 5455 Bee Cave Road in Westlake Hills and will be officiated by Msgr. Edward F. Jordan. A reception will follow.
