Daniel W. Baker, son of George Baker and Emeline Warnock of Beaver County, PA. Descendant of George Baker of the Blockhouse Baker line, one of the earliest settler families in Moon Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Married Sarah Jovene Zimmerly (daughter of Henry C. Zimmerly and Isabelle M. Bruce) on 21 Sept 1887, Hopewell Township. He was a member of Mt. Carmel United Presbyterian Church, in then called village of New Sheffield. He received his Medical Degree from Western Reserve, Cleveland, Ohio. He and his family moved to Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio. His medical office was in his home on Rayen Avenue in Youngstown where he continued to practice medicine until his death on Oct 29, 1932. “Obituary - Daniel Warnock Baker, “burial was in Mt. Carmel cemetery off Brodhead Road not far from the Baker estate. A number of local relatives attended the funeral yesterday.” A.G. 11/01/1932.
