The Alton Democrat

An exceedingly sad death occurred in Alton this week when Miss Jennie Van't Hull passed away at the home of her mother at the northwest corner of Alton. The young lady was but twenty two years old and was known for her good character and willingness as a worker. She had been ill four weeks with tuberculosis having prior to that been a strong and apparently healthy girl. Funeral services are being held this Friday afternoon at one from the house and at two from the church. Deceased leaves a mother - her father having died about two years ago - and one brother and three sisters. The sisters are Mrs. Herman Addink of Alton and Mrs. John Noteboom of Hospers and Miss Etta at home. The family certainly has the sympathy of the community.
