Edith E. Bartholomai, 104, of Uniontown, passed away Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, at Lafayette Manor, Uniontown. Edith was born in Bute, Aug. 20, 1910, a daughter of the late Victoria (Fike) and Lebidus Thadius Fazenbaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Bartholomai; her children, Donald Snyder, Clifford Snyder and three infant children; and siblings, Frank, Lester "Bud," Carl and Eliza; and her sons-in-law, Raymond Grenon and Joseph Richard "Dick" Martin. Edith's family was her life. She loved to cook, bake, crochet and garden and was well known for her delicious homemade bread and pastries. She was a beautiful, caring woman who made such a difference in so many lives. We love you, Mom.
