Evaline Lisher
At her home in Cuba on May 2, Mrs Evaline Lisher aged 78 years and 12 days. She came to Kansas in 1871 and has resided here since that time.
Her husband passed to the other shore several years ago. She leaves six children to mourn her loss. The body was interred in the Cuba graveyard on Monday the 3rd, in the presence of a large number of her old neighbors and friends.

Mrs. Evaline Lisher died at her home southwest of Agenda, Sunday morning, May 2, 1909, at and advanced age of eighty years.
Mrs. Lisher is the mother of a large family of children, most of whom survive her. She is another of the pioneers of Kansas, and lived in Brantford twp., Washington county in an early day. The Lisher family moved to Cuba shortly after the birth of that town and for many years made that place their home. For some years past she has made her home with her son, Chas. H. Lisher and family, in Agenda, and on farms near there.
Interment was made in the Cuba cemetery beside the remains of her husband who died some seventeen years preceding her. Mrs. Lisher was always a loving mother, a kind neighbor, and a true friend.
