FRANK V. BOND, FORMER LOCAL RESIDENT, DIES
Memorial services for Frank V. Bond, age 58 years, who died in Chicago Tuesday night at 8 o'clock, will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock fast time at the Bartholomew chapel on Monroe street, conducted by Rev. C. M. Small, of the Christian church. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. Friends may call at the Bartholomew chapel from 7 o'clock this evening until time of the services.
The body of Mr. Bond arrived here from Chicago this morning at 11:27 o'clock over the Pennsylvania railroad and then was taken to the Bartholomew chapel.
The decedent was born east of Valparaiso, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bond, pioneer residents of Washington township.
Prior to moving to Chicago eight years ago, Mr. Bond resided on East Jefferson street.
Surviving are the widow, Cora; three daughters: Mrs. Harry Coogle, Mrs. Fred Abelseth and Mrs. Roy Abelseth, and two sons, Vernon and Harold, all of Chicago. He also leaves his mother, Mrs. William Bond, and an aunt, Mrs. Frank Bond of this city; two brothers, Walter Bond, of Chicago, and Arthur Bond, of Miller Station; and five grandchildren. William Bond, the father, died eight years ago.
