Ulrik Frederik Valdemar baron Løvendal, grandson of Frederik III and Margrethe Pape. From 1710 until 1712 he was danish stadtholder in Norway. He married Dorothea von Brockdorff, a cousin of Anna Constantia von Cosel. She bore him a son Ulrich von Löwendal, who was later Marshall of France. He married secondly Benedicta Margaretha von Rantzau, who bore him four children that all died as children.
