Robert J. Dupras, age 79, of 903 S 42nd St, Manitowoc, died on Tuesday evening, September 9, 2014 at RiversBend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.

He was born on September 16, 1934 in Manitowoc, son of the late Julius and Carolyn (Schmidt) Dupras. Bob was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1953. He served in the US Army from 1957 until 1959 stationed in Germany with the 553rd Artillery. Bob received his honorable discharge with the rank of Corporal. On October 2, 1954 he married Theresa Zinkel at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Bob was employed for 40 years with Imperial Eastman as a Production Planner and Scheduler. He was a member of the AMVETS Post #99 and the Artillery 553rd Men's Association.

Survivors include his wife: Theresa, Manitowoc; three daughters and sons-in-law: Cheryl and Robert Isacson, Cedarburg, Jean and Kevin Sadowski, Manitowoc, Lori and Mike Nellis, Appleton; one son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Pandora Dupras, Chillicothe, OH; six grandchildren: Ashley Isacson, Ryan, Jason and Hailey Sadowski, Shayna and Shelby Nellis; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: James and Gail Zinkel, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by one grandson: Andrew Isacson; one brother: Eugene Dupras; one sister and brother-in-law: Delores and Bernard Spaeth.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, (1114 South 21st Street, Manitowoc). Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier. Cremation will follow the services at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc with burial of the cremated remains at Evergreen cemetery at a later date where Military Honors will be accorded.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until the time of morning prayers at 10:30 AM.
