Georgia Bell (Shurley) Edge September 11, 1926 - June 11, 2014 Warner Robins, Georgia- Georgia Bell (Shurley) Edge, 87, beloved wife & mother was laid to rest on June 14th, 2014 in a private graveside service. Mrs. Edge passed peacefully on June 11th, 2014. She was born on September 11th, 1926, in Meridian Mississippi, the third of nine children born to James and Rena Shurley. She married Jesse C. Edge of Montgomery, Alabama in 1945and together they raised three children.
Mrs. Edge was a devoted mother and homemaker to her own children and many others along the way that needed her. She was blessed with quick wit and a great sense of fun. She loved the Lord and her family more than anything in the world. She will be remembered above all else for her tireless strength and energy, her compassionate and loving heart, and her warm and generous spirit. Mrs. Edge was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse; son, Jesse Jr.; and grandson David Edge.
