Services for Grace E. Johnson, 85, of Newark will be 1 pm Monday in Criss Brothers Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Pyles officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson died Friday morning at LPN Geriatric Center. She was born Sept. 23, 1891 in Newark to the late George and Elizabeth (Hollar) Kirk. She was a former employee of the Pharis Tire and Rubber Co., the Cox Memorial United Methodist Church, and a former member of the Moose Lodge. Surviving are a daughter and son; 2 brothers John Kirk of Hebron and Ivan Kirk of Ft. Myers, Fl.; and 1 grandchild. A son, 2 brothers and 2 sisters are deceased.
