Ruth M. " Tootie" Lawler, of 807 Lowell Street, Two Rivers, died Wednesday morning, May 9, 2012 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.

Ruth was born March 6 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Harley and Anna (Vander Busch) Lawler. She was a graduate of Washington High School with the class of 1953. Ruth retired from Mirro Aluminum Company.

Survivors include one brother and two sisters-in-law: John and Elizabeth Lawler, and Beatrice Lawler. Several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive. She is further survived by her best friend Carol "Peany" Olp and very special friend Jeannie "Pudgy" Gulbrand.

She will be sadly missed by her special family: Rosie Olp, Mary Fenlon, Arlie & Pat Olp, Norman Olp, Marv and LaVonne Olp, and her special nieces and nephews: Jon, Tiffany, Patrick, Nikki, Jordan, Paul, Tracy, Eric, Tammy, Christine, Mike, Missy, Dave, Tony, Holly, Kathy, Dave, Doug, Suzanne, Carter, Jessie, Zach, Zoe, Adam, Emily, Andy, Sam, Brittany, Elliott, William, Davie, Alex, TJ, Alyssa, Tyler, Mariah and Kyra.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters: Betty, Robert, Dan and Floyd Lawler, Rose Sorge, Helen Walters and Gladys McKenna.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2012, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at St. Peter the Fisherman Cathoic Church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.

The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
