David V. Addis

Our beloved son David was born on October 15, 1962 in Wichita, Kansas. He passed way August 26, 2014.

David is survived by his son, Aaron Richard; and his parents Alvin and Patricia. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Daniel, Amy, Julie and Aaron; his nephew Daniel; nieces, Abigael and Grace; and his good friend, Patsy Gofkowski.

David retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty years of dedicated service, then retired from Raytheon after seven years aboard the USNS Observation Island. Both jobs allowed him to travel the world, experience new places, meet new people and make many friends. David touched many lives with his generosity, sense of humor and kindness.
He was a loyal and loving son, brother, uncle and friend. Our loss is truly heaven's gain. Memorial will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church in Darrington, WA with a memorial dinner to follow at Assembly of God Fellowship Hall.
