Clara was born May 23, 1934, in Nezperce, Idaho to John and Emma Koepl.
She attended Eastern Washington University in Cheney, where she received her degree in sociology and retired from the Washington State Department of Vocational Rehabilitation in 1996.
Clara was a devoted fan of the Seattle Seahawks, Mariners, and Washington State Cougars. Clara loved her dogs, reading, and puzzles, as well as family gatherings.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Sept. 3, 11 am at Saint Anne's Catholic Church in Medical Lake, Washington.
