Frank S Hoover came to CA in 1899 and lived with his family on their homestead, which became the epicenter of Hollywood and Vine Streets. He is credited with bringing the first motion picture studio to Hollywood, which was located on Sunset Blvd, where the Columbia Broadcasting Company's studio is located.
