Sarah "Sallie" Allison was born 22 Jul 1832 in Lawrence County, Illinois. She was the daughter of James W. Allison and Anna Doty Parker. In 1840, the family lived in Coles County, Illinois.

Sarah married Telemacous Frederick (aka Fredarick). They had two children, Martha Ann Fredarick and John T. Fredarick.

Sarah married Reuben Larkins on 10 Apr 1856 in Coles County, Illinois. Samuel Scott, Esq. officiated the ceremony. Sarah and Reuben made their home in Coles County. In 1870, the family lived in Cumberland County, Illinois. The family moved to Kansas in 1878 and settled at Cottonwood Falls, Chase County. The family moved to the Cherokee Nation in the Indian Territory about 1890, where Reuben was farming. According to the Cherokee Census, there were 3 people in the household and their property included 4 head of horses, 2 cows, and 3 head of hogs. In 1900, the family lived near Miami, Indian Territory (now Oklahoma). Reuben passed away in 1902. Sarah remained in Miami until 1908, when she moved to Ness City, Kansas, where she had family.

Sarah passed away on 18 Apr 1911 at Ness City, Kansas. Her body was returned to Miami, Oklahoma, for burial next to her husband.

Sarah was survived by four sons, James H. Larkins and George W. Larkins of Miami, Oklahoma, Christopher C. Larkins of Diamond, Missouri, and William E. Larkins of Ness City Kansas; and one daughter, Sarah Larkins Taylor Drake of Ness City, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband; three sons, John T. Fredrick in 1883, Dennis Larkins in 1863 and Noah M. Larkins in 1900; and one daughter, Martha Ann Frederick in 1855.
