WAYNESBORO - Mrs. Rena White Alexander, 96, formerly of Lexington died Tuesday. Surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, including Dr. Isaac H. Rowland, Sr., Mrs. Janice Richardson, Mr. Isaac H. Rowland, Jr., Mrs. Emily Adamson, Mrs. Waltina Hatcher, along with her dearest friends, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver L. Brooks, Sr. and son, Oliver, Jr. The body will be moved to the Randolph Street United Methodist Church in Lexington at 9:00 a.m. Saturday. The funeral services will be held at the church at 10:00 a.m. Saturday with Rev. E. Phillip Terrell Minister. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. J.B. Lewis Funeral Service, Lexington, is handling the arrangements.
