Karen Jeanette Blythe of Springfield, Mo., passed away in her home on Wednesday evening, March 8, at the age of 57. She was born March 7, 1949, in Cassville, Mo., to Don and Ernie Lou (Henbest) Brock.
On May 29, 1985, she was united in marriage to Gary Blythe, who survives. She is also survived by two sons, Brian Don Garland and his fiancee, Angela K. Braken, and Eric Todd Garland and his fiancee, Audra Stufflebeam, all of Springfield; a stepdaughter, Carrie A. Blythe, also of Springfield; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at Greenlawn Funeral Home South in Springfield. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 13, at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville, Mo., with the Rev. Bob Neeley officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Community Hospices of America.
