Military services for Pfc. Donald R. Bartley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie E. Bartley of near Lizton, was conducted, Wednesday morning, from the Baker Funeral Home, Danville. The Rev. R. L. Rader officiated with interment in the Lizton K of P Cemetery. He was killed in action March 19 in An Hoa, Vietnam, at the age of 20. A native of Rushville, he was born November 12, 1948. He attended Lizton High School, the North West Community High School and was graduated from Washington High School in Indianapolis with the Class of 1968. He enlisted in the Marine Corps July 9, 1968 and took his basic training at Camp Pendleton, California. He left for overseas duty January 6. He was serving with the D-Battery of the Second Battalion, 11th Division of the Marine Corps at the time of his death. Surviving with the parents are a brother, David Bartley, at home; two sisters, Linda K. Bartley, at home, and Mrs. Phyllis Hawkins, Danville; and grandfather, Albert Huegel, Rushville.
