On October 9, 1933, Frances married Leo S. Braun in Dotyville. From 1940, Frances and Leo were the owner operators of Braun Hardware Store in Dotyville. Her sons continued the operation of the business upon their retirement, even though Frances continued to do some office work.
Frances was formerly a member of St. Michael Church in Dotyville and then a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Community.
Frances is survived by six children, Wilfrid (Ingrid) Braun of Dotyville; Marilyn (Roger) Sippel of Fond du Lac; Barbara (John) Brown of Fond du Lac; David (Janet) Braun of Hartford; Thomas (Roxanne) Braun of Dotyville; and Beatrice (David) Meyer of St. Anne; 17 grandchildren, Annette, Michael (Karen) and Linda Braun, Jeanne (Randy) Sabel, Susan Schoenberger, Sheila (Doug) Schneider, Doug (Heather) Sippel, Jill (Kevin) Pasqua, John S. (Erin) Brown, Jennifer (Jon) Wiltzius, Laura (Dan) Haak, Sara (Mark) Brinkmoeller, Mathew (Regan) Braun, Emily (Steve) Supple, Jeff (Julie), Jim (Amy), and Joe (Melissa) Braun; 27 great- grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-law, Esther Braun, Sarah Braun and Ann Braun; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Frances in death are her parents, husband, one son, Charles, brothers, Alex and Ida Lefeber, Gary and Marge Lefeber and Aloysius Lefeber; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Odelia and Albert Will, Catherine and Louis Schmidt, Marcella and Ed Seibel, Marie and George Wolfe, Margaret and Jim King, Arnold and Evelyn Braun, Oscar and Esther Braun, Raymond and Alice Braun, Alois and Sally Braun, Alfred, Ambrose and Victor Braun.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Campbellsport, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Dotyville.
