Marion H. Arrasmith, age 84, of Gobles, passed away Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, at Lakeview Continuing Care in Lawton. Mrs. Arrasmith was born Jan. 17, 1923 in Keeler Township and resided in the Gobles area the majority of her life where she enjoyed gardening and her summer produce stand. She was retired from Perrigo. Surviving are two sons, John Arrasmith and Randy (Beth) Arrasmith, both of Gobles; three grandchildren, Marc (Shannon) Arrasmith, Melissa (Cliff) DeVore, and David Arrasmith; five great grandchildren, Kyle, Elana, Sydnee and Marc Arrasmith and Zachary DeVore; two brothers, Fred Groth of South Haven and Ed (Donna) Groth of Nazareth, MI; a former daughter-in-law, Deanna Hostetler of Bloomingdale. She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1971 and a daughter, Linda Vickery in 2005. The family will meet friends Wed. 5-7 PM at the GOBLES CHAPEL, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 7 PM, Pastor Richard Fenner officiating. Cremation will follow. Those wishing may make memorials to the Van Buren County Hospice.
