EDNA MAE AAMOTH

SHEDD - Edna Mae Aamoth, 78, of Shedd, died Friday in Albany at Timberview Care Center.
She was born in Rapid City, S.D., the daughter of Irl Leroy and Minnie (Hoar) Pense. She moved to Oregon in 1939.
She married Clarence Henry Aamoth in 1942 in Vancouver, Wash. He died July 14, 1989.
Minnie was a homemaker who liked houseplants, gardening and canning and especially enjoyed living in Shedd.
Surviving are son Lyle Sargent of Salem; daughters Carol Moore of Shedd and Linda Navage of Bainbridge Island, Wash.; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Brother Ralph Pense and sister Frances Hall died before her.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Willamette Memorial Park with Pastor Mark Peterson officiating. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mid-Willamette Chapter of the Alzheimers Association.
