Jack L. Addison, 61, of Moores Hill passed away Monday September 8, 2014 at U.C. Hospital, Cincinnati.
Jack was born Monday February 2, 1953 in Aurora, IN; the son of Dewey and Sarah (Bowman) Addison. He married Joyce (Brandon) Addison and she survives.
Jack was a welder and a boiler maker. Jack served for his country in the Navy. He was a member of the Holman Christian Union Church, loved the outdoors, hunting, panning for gold, looking for ginseng, watching the Bengals games, loved to sing in church on Sundays, and spending time with his family and friends.
Jack is survived by his wife: Joyce of Moores Hill; Daughters: Brandie (James) Fields of North Carolina, Melissa (Darrin) Busching of Moores Hill, and Stephanie (Robert) Henegar of Indianapolis. Brothers: William (Dewey) Addison of Lawrenceburg; Kenneth Addison, Bob Addison, Joe Addison all of Moores Hill. Sisters: Margie Short of Moores Hill, Millie Plyman, Brenda Clem, Kathie Sizemore (twin sister) all of Aurora and Letha Hughes of Dillsboro. 4 Grandchildren Jaydlan Fields, Easton Fields, Cody Henegar and Cole Henegar. 1 great-grandchild K.C. Henegar; several nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 11AM Saturday September 13, 2014, at Holman Christian Union Church 12020 North Hogan Road Aurora, IN 47001 with Pastor Mike Addison officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill cemetery with Military rites conducted by the Moores Hill American Legion Post #209. Visitation will be Friday 5-8PM at the church.
