Frank C. Miller, 82, and Judy Miller, 65, Gladstone, died of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Gladstone, on Monday, September 15, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial for Frank and Judy will be at 11 a.m., Monday, September 22, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson. Interment will take place at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan. Military honors for Frank will be provided by the Dickinson Honors Team following the Mass. Visitation will be on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, with a rosary & vigil at 3 p.m., with Deacon Bob Zent presiding.

Frank C. Miller was born April 9, 1932 at Dickinson, the son of Clemence and Mary (Briltz) Miller. He was raised and educated in Dickinson. Following graduation he joined the United States Army and served honorably until his discharge in March 1954. He married Delores Dinius and they were later divorced. Throughout his life he was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.

Judith A. Berger was born November 8, 1948 at Dickinson, the daughter of Anton and Veronica (Blecker) Berger. She was raised and educated in Dickinson and graduated from Dickinson High School.

Frank and Judy were united in marriage on June 22, 1968 at Dickinson. For the next 46 years they were at each others sides, and together raised their eight children. Frank having worked at the Husky Briquette Plant for 26 years until it closed. Judy was a stay at home mom and housewife until 1992 when she went to work as a housekeeper at various hotels until her retirement earlier this year.

The joy of their lives was taking trips, day trips and longer cruises, by automobile or by plane, especially those around North Dakota. Loved visiting and meeting new people, befriending everyone they met.

Frank and Judy are survived by their children, Mary (Mike) Wetzel, Williston, Neal (Lisa) Miller, Kalamazoo, Mich., Mark (Deborah) Miller, Casper, Wyo., Debora (Ernie) Griggs, Atlanta, Ga., Jody (Brenda) Miller, Bismarck, Gwen (Dave) Nelson, Jamestown, Rodney (Jackie) Miller, Dickinson, and Melissa Miller, Fargo; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Frank’s siblings are, Mike (Donna) Miller, Dickinson, Joe (Marie) Miller, Dickinson, Bill (Bev) Miller, Colorado, Bob (Paula) Miller, Oklahoma, and Ron (Nancy) Miller, Arizona; Judy’s siblings are, Rita Osborn, Washington, Charlotte (Danny) Osborn, Washington, Jeannie Berger, Dickinson, Jody Berger, Washington, Adrian (Linda) Berger, Washington, Bruce Berger, Oregon, Wayne Berger, Washington, Jeff Berger, Washington, Karen Hutzenbuler, Washington, Donald (Natalie) Berger, Washington, Donna Brownell, Washington, and Beverly (Chopper) Hardinger, Arizona.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister and husband, Marge (Roy) Sailer. Judy was preceded by her parents; sister, Bonnie; and twin infant siblings.
