Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday,Sept. 18, at Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Ave., Fanwood, N.J. The funeral will be from Memorial Funeral Home on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church, 1571 Martine Ave., Scotch Plains. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Rd., Airmont, N.Y.
Born and raised in Elberon, N.J., Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Matilda and Andrew Garrity. She had lived in Scotch Plains, N.J., for close to 40 years. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary and an active member of the church Bible study group. Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Edward O'Sullivan; daughter, Shannon and son-in-law, Thomas Brennan, of Westfield, N.J., daughter Megan and son-in-law, Ralph Rodriguez of New York City; daughter Heather and son-in-law, James Fortescue, of Orangeburg, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, Thomas, Andrew, James, Patrick, Madelyn, Sullivan, and Farrell; sisters, Barbara Venerus, Janet Bressler, Anita Anderson and brother, Andrew Garrity; sister-in-law Maureen O'Sullivan and brother-in-law Donald Anderson.
