Francis “Frank” Gregory Miller age 83, of Logan, Iowa passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Rose Vista Nursing Home in Woodbine, Iowa. Francis was born August 5, 1931 to Frank and Mary (Jungensmier) Miller just 3 miles west of Panama, Iowa. At the age of 3 they moved 3 miles south-west which has now become to be known as the “Miller Place”. Where he farmed with his father until September 11, 1952. Francis then joined the US Army and spent 14 months in Korea, returning in October 1954. Francis continued to farm and worked for packing plants, Farmland and FS. Francis married Deloris Shriver October 16, 1954. They were blessed with five children; Wayne, Eugene, Susan, Vicky and Nancy.

Francis was preceded in death by parents Frank and Mary Miller, wife Deloris, son Wayne, sister; Dorothy Miller, and grandchild Dustin Jones.

Survivors include his children; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren; three sisters; one brother.
