James “Pat” Lawrence, 78, of Horn Lake, Mississippi, formerly of Searcy, Arkansas went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, September 2014. He was born Tuesday, November 19, 1935 in Calico Rock, Arkansas to the late James Franklin and Jessie Evelyn Payne Lawrence.
Pat was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church and a painting contractor.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dorlis Lawrence.
He leaves to cherish is memory his wife Hazel Ruhl Lawrence; sons, Wade Lawrence of Robinsonville, Mississippi and Keith Lawrence of Memphis, Tennessee; grandchildren, Mychael Lawrence of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Allyssa Lawrence, Jenna Lawrence and Lacy Lawrence all of Euless, Texas; sisters, Virginia Hidden of Edgewood, Texas, Shirley Nanny of Locust Grove, Arkansas, Laverne Mashburn of Searcy and Barbara Davis of Judsonia; one brother, Gary Lawrence of Drasko, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, September 19, 2014, 6:00-8:00pm, at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow in the Kensett Cemetery.
