died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, September 8, at Holy Family Hospital,
Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at Parkside Funeral Home and 10 a.m.
at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian burial will be
celebrated by the Rev. James Stamborski and burial will be in St. Casimir
Cemetery, Northeim.
Mrs. Zych, nee Vanda Pekarske, was born May 18, 1891, at Northeim, daughter of
the late Andrew and Suzanne Leschke Pekarske. She was married to Jacob Zych June 4,
1912, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Northeim. He preceded her in death in 1964.
She was a charter member of St. Andrew Women's Council and St. Casimir Rosary
Society and a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and Otto Kollath of Manitowoc
and Harriet and Leander Scharenbroch of Cleveland, six grandchildren, 10 great
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Three brothers and two sisters
preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. A prayer service
will be at 7 p.m. led by Father Stamborski. Harry Bergner is in charge of arrangements.
