Medford (WI) Star News, Thurs. Dec. 8, 1955, p. 3:3. Mrs. Conrad Niggemann Dies, Services Held Monday at Rib Lake. Services were held Monday at St. John’s Catholic church, Rib Lake, for former Colby and Rib Lake resident, Mrs. Conrad Niggeman, 77. Rev. Robert Stock officiated at the 9 o’clock requiem rites and at the burial in Medford’s Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Niggemann was born the former Anna May at Fond du Lac Feb. 3, 1878. She made her home in Colby until 1945 when she settled at Rib Lake. Two and one half years ago she entered a Clintonville Nursing home after suffering a stroke. While at Rib Lake she affiliated with St. John’s Catholic church and was a member of the Catholic Forresters and Christian Mothers. Mrs. Niggemann is survived by two sons, Edward of Kankakee IL, and Vernon, Tacoma WA, four brothers, Edward, Racine; Joseph, Henry and Mathew of Fond du Lac, and one sister, Mrs. George Glasnap of Appleton. Mr. Niggeman preceded his wife in death in 1953 and one son, Raymond, died in 1924.
