Funeral services for Brandon Terry Hawkins Mason, 13, of Oxford, Alabama will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at Gray Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Chaisson officiating. The Graveside service will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Oxford Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Tuesday. Gray Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Brandon died Sunday, March 5, 2006 at his residence.

He is survived by his mother, Kristy Rivas of Oxford; father, Taylor Hawkins Jr of Anniston; three sisters, Amber Bailey, Selena Rivas & Makayla Mason of Oxford; four brothers, Matthew Rivas of Oxford; Taylor Hawkins III, Jerimiah Hawkins, and Cameron Hawkins of Gadsden; grandparents, Bob and Diane Mason of Oxford; Electa Goggins of Anniston, great grandparents, Katherine Reaves of Ohatchee, Roberta Mason of Jackson, MI; aunts, Heather Lindsay and Faye Curry; uncles, Terry Mason, Joseph Hawkins, Josh Hawkins and Jeremy Hawkins; girlfriend, April Franklin; best friend, Patrick Daniel Sojka and several cousins.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Hawkins, Shane Reaves, Scott Fleming, Stephen Sojka, Andrew Sojka and Josh Sojka. Brandon was a resident of Calhoun County most of his life and in the Sixth Grade Class at Dearmanville Jr. High School. He was preceded in death by: two sisters, Heaven and Leilani Mason and his grandfather, Taylor Hawkins Sr. Brandon lost his life with is best friend Jeremy Johnson. The family would like to thank the students and faculty at Dearmanville Jr. High School, other schools and friends for their prayers and support.
