MILLER, Clarence Harper - 63, of 306 Truslow St., a retired groceryman, died yesterday morning at his home. He had lived in Charleston 30 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist church, where service will be at 3:30 p. m. tomorrow. Rev. Lee Shane will officiate and burial will be in Spring Hill cemetery. The body is at Bartlett mortuary and will be taken to the church an hour before the service.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lydia Miller; two stepdaughters, Mrs. French L. Turley of South Charleston and Mrs. Bertha Brock of Charleston; two stepsons, H. T. Atkinson of Charleston and H. D. Atkinson of Bownemont; five sisters, Mrs. Nora Harris, Huntington, Mrs. Clett Smith, Mrs. Clara Patton and the Misses Bessie and Josephine Miller, all of Morgantown; a brother, Ira of Hico; and three grandchildren.
Members of the Philathea class will be flower carriers, and members of the Lewis Bible class of the Union Mission and the Men of Calvary of Calvary Baptist Church will be active and honorary pallbearers.
