DEATH OF GEORGE ABBE

Good Citizen Passed to His Reward Sunday Morning, When Death Relieved His Suffering

George Abbe, a resident of Fallon for several years, passed away Sunday morning after an illness of several weeks of stomach trouble. He was aged 52 years and was known as a man of strict integrity and honest and industrious purpose. He came here from Loyalton, Cal., where he was a member in good standing of the Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias lodges.

Deceased left a wife, the daughter of Charles C. and Dr. Virginia P. Smith. In addition two small children are left without their father.

The funeral services occurred yesterday afternoon from the Baptist church, being conducted by Rev. E. L. Spaulding. The local lodge of Knight of Pythias also assisted in the ceremonies at the church and the graveside.
