NAOMI R. KLINGHOLZ

Naomi R. Klingholz, age 85, formerly of 3814 Custer Street, Manitowoc, and currently a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center for the past six years, died Tuesday afternoon, May 17, 2011, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.

Naomi was born on August 2, 1925, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Herman and Laura (Schlei) Meisner. She was a 1944 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Naomi married Paul A. Klingholz on July 25, 1046, at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. Paul preceded her in death on January 25, 2011. In the past, Naomi worked for the Copps Store and retired in 1988 from Schuette Department Store. She was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, First German Ladies Aid and Otto-Oas VFW Post #659 Auxiliary.

Survivors include: One daughter: Linda Klingholz, Manitowoc; one son: John Klingholz, Manitowoc; one son-in-law: Charles Lubeck, Manitowoc; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Herman and Laura Meisner; her husband, Paul A. Klingholz; one daughter: Nora Lubeck; one sister: Arlene Aschenbrenner and one brother: Ronald Meisner.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2011, at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1033 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Benjamin Schaefer will officiate with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum.

Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is serving the Klingholz family. Online condolences may be sent to www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com
