MABEL V. KLEIN
Mabel V. Klein, age 79, of 960 South Rapids Road, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Rivers Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Mabel was born June 26, 1934 in Kewaunee, daughter of the late Julius and Viola (Hagenow) Nemetz. She attended schools in Mishicot and graduated with the class of 1953 from Mishicot High School. In July of 1974 she married Jerry W. Klein. He preceded her in death December 21, 2012.
She is survived by one step-daughter: Brenda Lewis, Neenah; one stepson: Robert (Bobby) Klein, Manitowoc; one granddaughter: Tayler Lewis; one aunt: Clara Hagenow; two brothers-in-law and three sisters in law: Bernice Mason, Manitowoc (Dale (Karen) Klein, IN, Willard (Rosie) Klein, Suring, WI; special friends: Leroy and Joyce Novy; Pam and Denny; John "Jack" Sosnosky, many cousins also survived. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father: Ervin Polifka; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Private family funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2013 at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Bill Brunner will officiate. Entombment will follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
