In 1958, when Peter and Cecilia (LEYES) JERGENS were visiting their daughters who lived in southern California, Cecilia became seriously ill and was hospitalized in San Diego. She died in the hospital on May 7, 1958, at age 63, just days before her 41st wedding anniversary. She is buried in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, San Diego County, CA, in the section named "Our Lady of Guadalupe," Plot #1306, Grave #6. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.
