Police Officer William Allison, star number 304, was assigned to the South Park Station.

On June 15, 1925, Officer Allison was on duty and riding his police motorcycle near Archer and Western Avenues. The officer was severely injured after being pinned between two vehicles which collided. Officer Allison was transported to St. Anthony Hospital where he died on June 23, 1925.

Officer Allison’s funeral mass was held at St. Agnes Church, and he was laid to rest in Oak Ridge Cemetery. He was survived by his parents George and Christina Allison and siblings Thomas, George, Mary, and Mrs. Letty Wiot. He was unmarried.
