Sheboygan Press, Sat. Aug. 20, 1955, p. 8:5. Henry P. Smith, 79, of 1029 Indiana Ave., Sheboygan, a former Town of Mitchell resident, died at 9 p.m. Friday at the St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan after a five-day illness. He was born Mar. 26, 1876, in Humboldt MI, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Smith. He is survived by four sons, Donald Smith and Robert, Daniel and Leroy Leary, all of Sheboygan; five daughters, Miss Dollie Smith, Mrs. Margaret Gasser and Miss Patty Gasser, all of Sheboygan, Mrs. Leroy Bintzler of Plymouth, and Mrs. Catherine Pfrang of Grand Rapids MI; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Skelton of Sheboygan and Mrs. Agnes Sullivan of Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:15 a.m. from the Gentine Funeral Home, Plymouth, and at 10 a.m from the St. Mary’s Church, Cascade. The Rev. Louis Schmidt, pastor the church will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Sunday until the time of services.
