Funeral services for Alfred Rogelstad 73, longtime Le Mars resident, will be at 2 p.m Friday at the Mauer Funeral Chapel.
Rev L.L. Belk and Rev A. Imbrock will officiate. Burial will be in Le Mars memorial cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Mr Romgelstad died at his home at 17 First Ave. NE, Tuesday after an illness of aa year.He was the son of the late John and Lena (Torkelson) Rogelstad. He was born March 29, 1894, in Humboldt County and was a construction brick layer attendant. He lived in Humboldt County and in North Dakota towns before coming to Le Mars in 1938. March 14, 1941, he was married to Anita Rose Klave in Le Mars,IA
Survivors are his wife Anita of Le Mars: four sisters, Marie Parizek, MN, Sarah Soppeland, Des Moines; Hilda Olson, Denver, IA and Esther Neal who lives in California: four brothers, Milford of New Rockford, ND, Leonard of Harvey, ND, Floyd of Minot, ND, and Edward, Denver, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
Mr Rogelstad was a member of American Legion and World War I Barracks.
