SPENCERVILLE — BARBARA ELLEN RENFROW, 79, of Spencerville died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born June 7, 1928, in Grover Hill, Ohio, to George Felix and Minnie Verbima (Boulenbaugh) Goings. They preceded her in death. She married Odell Renfrow on Dec. 7, 1946, in Fort Wayne. He died Sept. 23, 1997.
Surviving are five sons; seven daughters; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a brother, Dennis D. Goings of Fort Wayne; and a sister, Sylvia Cearbaugh of Orland. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Herschel and Lloyd Goings.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Carnahan-Baidinger & Walter Funeral Home, 6992 S.R. 1, Spencerville, Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at St. Joe. Calling will be today from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
