The funeral was at 3:30 yesterday afternoon, at Myers Chapel with Reverend R. B. Guthrie officiating and burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Peavler was preceded in death by her husband, James Warren Peavler, MD on December 30, 1891. She is survived by one son, John Hagle Peavler of Saugaatuck, Michigan, three daughters; Mrs. Clytia Crocker and Mrs. Ethel Darwin of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Minnie Hamilton of Anna; two brothers, Ben Hagle of Lewistown, Illinois, Dios Corides of Blackburn, Oklahoma and one sister; Mrs. Lou Smith, Palo Alto, California.
Mrs. Peavler was aged 89 years, 8 months, and 26 days at the time of her death. She had been a resident of Jefferson County for 42 years.
