OBITUARY

Injuries sustained last Thursday when the pickup truck he was driving was demolished by a large semi-trailer in a collision on Highway 24 at the west edge of Logansport proved fatal at 9:25 Tuesday morning to Cifford Reprogle, 51, of near Galveston in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Reprogle was born Feb. 21, 1898, in Monticello, the son of L.D. and Catherine McDonald Rerogle. He was a member of the Methodist church, the local Elks lodge and Tipton lodge No. 33 F. and A.M. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Elsie O. Fisher Reprogle; two daughters, Mrs. Athalia Jones, Logansport and Mrs. Catherine Kimberling, of Kokomo; five grandchildren, three brothers, Jesse and Stewart, both of Monon; Maynard, Crown Point; three sisters, Mrs. Iva Medley, route 1, Monticello; Mrs. Blanche Parker, Logansport; and Mrs. Grace White, route 4, Logansport; and several neices and nephews. Final services are to be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Chase-Miler chapel. The Rev. Harry Jones will officiate and burial will be made in the Monticello I.O.O.F. Cemetery.The body remains at the funeral home where friends may call.
