Fond du Lac Reporter, Mon. July 2, 1973, p. 32:1. Mrs. Wilhelmina Blatz, 74, of 565 Marshall Ave., died at 3:25 p.m. Sunday at St. Agnes Hospital. Born Sept. 8, 1898, in Fond du Lac, she was a daughter of John and Gertrude Rausch Schmitz. She was married to Edwin Blatz at St. Mary’s Church on Feb. 10, 1931. Survivors include her widower; four daughters, Mrs. George Preissner of Eldorado, Mrs. Gerald Gross of R. 3, Fond du Lac, Mrs. Thomas Webb and Mrs. Dale Norenberg both of Fond du Lac; a son, John at home; and 13 grandchildren. Two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church where Mrs. Blatz was a member. The Rev. Ernst Dreher will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
