Charles Allen Bailey, aged 79 years, a resident of Whatcom county for more than twenty-six years, passed away at the old homestead at Forest Grove, near Central, this county, Thursday evening at 8 o'clock, death being due to apoplexy. Mr. Bailey had been ill for more than fourteen months. He was the father of Mrs. O. D. Lamoureaux and E. A. Parker, pioneer residents of this county.
