Doris Rose Linker (nee Schroeder) passed away peacefully with her son Eric and daughter Susan by her side on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Her greatest enjoyments in life were her family, animals, birds, plants, and music. Doris graduated from Maumee High School in 1944.
She is survived by her sister, Pauline (Robert) Reef; her cat Rudy; 11 children, Susan Linker, Eric Linker (Glenn Kay), Christine (Brian) Cook, Joanne (Greg) Garreau, David (Nancy) Albert, Diane Smith, Roy Parman, Richard (Kim) Parman, Gary Ayers, Suzanne Zienta, and Dee (Jeff) Hamilton; 24 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Her son, Michael Albert, daughter, Carol Damschroder, grandson, Caleb Linker, and cat, Sonny predeceased her.
Visitation will be on Sunday September 28, 2014 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537. The funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday September 29, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee, Ohio. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
