Joann H. Matson VanScoy passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at a hard fought battle with ovarian cancer surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born April 14, 1961, the daughter of predeceased Joseph S. Hufnagel and Ann Hufnagel of Pleasant Valley, NY, originally from Yonkers, NY. Joann graduated from Arlington High School, attended Dutchess Community College. She joined the U.S. Military where she served as a Military Police Officer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joann's name to Ovarian Cancer Research at www.ocrf.org.
