She was born in Pittsfield, and made her home in Elgin for the past 35 years. She was a member of First Methodist Church. At one time she was employed by Elgin Garment Company.
Her husband, McDonald, died in 1950.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Edna M.) Blum of Elgin and Mrs. Ruby DeBella of Chicago; four sons, Everett of Geneva and Clyde of Maywood, Frank of Penillas Park, Fla. and Carl of Elgin; and a brother, Jesse Spicer of Hannibal, Mo.
Private funeral services will be held Saturday in the Schmidt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
