Clayton C. Eagle Jr., 55 of Tunnelton, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.He was born July 13, 1945, in Kingwood, son of the late Clayton C. and Geraldine DeBerry Eagle.
He was a coal miner for Consolidated Coal Co. He was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Church, in Tunnelton.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Martin Eagle; a son, David Eagle, of Morgantown; three daughters, Diane Eagle and Amanda Eagle, both of Masontown, and Shonna McCardle, of Morgantown; a brother, Garry L. Eagle, of Kingwood; three sisters, Linda Shultz, of Rowlesburg, and Debbie Hovatter and Roxanne Martin, both of Kingwood; and two grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Norman E. Eagle.
Friends may call at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Service will be 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 16, with the Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, in Kingwood.
