Through cheerleading and school at ISU, she met the love of her life, David Schroeder of Salmon, Idaho. The two were married on July 16, 2011 and moved to Salmon, Idaho in June of 2012 with their two daughters. Together, they opened Lat 45 CrossFit, where Kassi was a coach. She also worked part-time for Steele Memorial Medical Center as a radiologist, and helped coach the Salmon High School Cheerleaders, all of which she managed on top of being a full-time mother. Kassi loved style and fashion, and definitely shoes. She loved cheerleading, and being a lady. She loved crafting beautiful things out of ordinary things. But more than any of that, she loved her family, and she loved her friends. The people in her life meant more to her than anything, and she made sure they knew it. She was a steadfast friend, a strong and supportive wife, and a wonderful role model for her daughters.
Kassi was handed an excruciating battle, and she fought it with true grace. In the end, she was a hero and an inspiration to everyone who knew her and many who didn't.
She leaves behind her husband, David, and two beloved daughters, Payleigh Jo and Brailyn Jade. She also leaves behind Melinda Perez, her mother, Brian Anderson, father, David Perez, step-father, and siblings Akio Anderson, Norena Perez, Korbee Anderson, and Portia Perez.
