John H. Coldren, 74, retired contractor and rock quarry operator, died at this residence on rural route one at 1:15 o'clock this morning following an illness of more than ten years. He had been confined to bed the past six years.
Mr. Coldren was born in Leavenworth, May 13, 1870, a son of Hosia and Anna Coldren, pioneers of Leavenworth.
